The Art World Has a Trust Problem. We Built the Solution.

Finding a trusted art professional has always depended on who you already know. ARTSRVE is a marketplace that changes that. Every professional on the platform is vetted for credentials and professional standing before they can receive an inquiry. Proposals, payment in escrow, and dispute resolution are built into every engagement.

The Art World Has a Trust Problem. We Built the Solution.

There is a question that every new collector eventually faces. They have acquired a few works. They want to know what those works are worth, or whether to buy something new, or what to do with what they have inherited. The question is simple. The answer is not. Because the answer depends entirely on who you know.

If you know the right people, you call them. You get a name. That person calls you back because you came from someone they trust. The relationship works because the network exists. But if you are new to collecting, or you have moved to a new city, or you have inherited a collection from someone who built those relationships over decades and is no longer here to make the introduction, you are starting from nothing.

That is the collector who kept me up at night when I was designing ARTSRVE. Not the established collector with a gallery relationship and a roster of advisors on speed dial. The one who does not know where to start, and has no one to ask.

What We Built

ARTSRVE is an online marketplace connecting collectors with vetted art service professionals. Art advisors, appraisers, consultants, conservators, framers, and art handlers.

Every professional on the platform has completed a credentialing review before they can receive a single inquiry. The platform handles everything after the introduction. Proposals, payment in escrow, a seven-day review window after delivery, and dispute resolution if something goes wrong. The collector is protected. The professional is protected. Neither party has to take the relationship on faith.

Why We Built It This Way

Before ARTSRVE, I was an art advisor. I built my practice the same way every art advisor does: through people I knew, and people those people knew. My clients came to me because someone trusted me enough to say my name. I was good at what I did, but my reach was entirely determined by my network.

Before that, I spent years at Amazon, helping some of the largest brands in the country understand how a well-functioning marketplace creates value for everyone on it. McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Jeep. These were companies with enormous reach, and what I watched them do on a marketplace was understand that the platform does not replace the relationship. It makes the relationship possible at a scale that was never possible before.

ARTSRVE exists because those two things belong together. The art world's relationship-driven trust standards, and the marketplace infrastructure that can make those standards accessible to anyone who needs them.

Who This Is For

If you are a collector looking for an appraiser, an advisor, a conservator, or any of the other professionals that a serious collection requires over time, ARTSRVE was built for you.

If you are an art professional who built your practice on word of mouth and wants a channel to reach clients you would never meet through your existing network, ARTSRVE was built for you too.

On Trust

The art world runs on trust. It always has. What it has never had is a way to extend that trust beyond the boundaries of who already knows who.

That is what ARTSRVE is for.
